An Appeal TO Our PM on Reservation

I request our Prime Minister respectable Sri Narendra Modiji to give a call to SCST persons to voluntarily discard benefits available to them under reservation if they are capable, rich and well todo. And their this sacrificed quota may bè given to other deprieved class or to economically backward class of general category. This idea if executed in true spirit , will make them (SCST) as General category and help in stopping mad rush for demanding reservation for various group of person or for some caste or for a community.

I am very much confident this formula of volutarily discarding subsidies by afflurnt classs which our learned PM applied in gas subdidy and train reservation can also yield good results if applied in case of reservation too.

Here it is worthwhile to mention that our Constitution makers had made provision of reservation for certain caste people categorised as SC and ST only for ten years in anticipation that these poor class people will be made economically and socially equal during a span of 10 years.

But unfortunately due to some reason or the other, lakhs and crores of people have been added to reserved category during last seven decades which is opposite to what our learned constitution makers had visualised.

It is further painful that even affluent class of people has started demanding reservation for their class of people. Our society is not only facing great problem but division in society has increased to a painful extent. People of one class hate that of others which may slowly and gradually lead to a class war and social unrest. Politicians and Media men for their self interest will continue to exploit poverty of baçkward class people.

Due to vote bank oriented mindset of our politicians we cannot dream of eliminating provisions of reservation even if beneficiaries of reservations become stronger and richer than general caste people . And due to such imbalances and misuse of government policies, prople belonging to weaker and middle class of general caste group feel cheated and deprieved. They feel that government is doing injustice with them for fulfilling agenda of self interest of politicians.

Moreover it is undeniable fact that a country can prosper and grow only when it learns and implements honestly the policy of rewarding meritorious class of people. Otherwise intelligent people who have huge knowledge and potential to help India in growing will as hitherto continue to go abroad for better recognition and better salary.

There is feeling of resentment in both class of people, one who is beneficiary of reservation and one who is not. Both have their own reason and their ligic to justify their ideas. Media men will continue to add fuel to fire as usual for the sake of their TRP or to please their mentor political parties.

Lastly it is our Beloved PM who can take effective initiative to create social harmony and help India grow taking all class of people together. "Sabka sath sabka vikas"
